The Center for Academic Success
About Our Center
The Center for Academic Success (CAS) is a nonprofit organization headquartered in Montgomery, Alabama. CAS was established to assist children from underprivileged, underrepresented, and economically disenfranchised areas with school readiness and preparedness. Our primary goal is to make sure that school age children have the necessary supplies to be successful at the start of each academic year. We do not want the economic status or financial situation of any family to hinder their personal growth and development in the schoolhouse. Toward that goal, we distribute backpacks, notebooks, pens, pencils, paper, and other essentials to those in need. Although, we attend to elementary school children first, there may exist opportunities to assist students in middle and high school. We believe if a child has the tools, she or he can achieve. Academic success in the latter years depends upon having a great start in the early formative years. We look forward to working with you to meet the needs of our future leaders and scholars.
